What is Wooden Axe?
The Wooden Axe is Explorer's starter chopping tool. The first chunk needs wood, and wood is an input across the craft menu. Lumberjack replaces this start with an Iron Axe.

How do you use Wooden Axe?
Chop the 8 wood for the opening chunk, then keep chopping for floors and later crafts. If wood is the whole early game, the Iron Axe from Lumberjack is the direct upgrade and costs 150 Gems as a class, not as a shop axe.
